Pablo del Monte - Emotional Con (Thallulah, William Medagli & Jose Maria Ramon Remix)

East Recordings tenth release sees label boss Pablo del Monte team up once again with Italian producers Thallulah, William Medagli and Jose Maria Ramon on his latest EP, “Emotional Con”. Pablo’s previous EP, “Glide Over Here”, drew enormous support from the DJ community with remixes from Thallulah, Julius Papp and dj-Vox appealing to a wide spectrum of tastes. In a similar vein, “Emotional Con” is a 4-tracker EP that touches many bases style-wise but whose roots are firmly based in house.

The lead track “Emotional Con” borrows elements from techno and mainroom to brew up a contemporary deep house classic. A Reese bassline and big drums build the tension towards the drop when the vocal comes in and provides a hands-in-the-air moment. The Thallulah, William Medagli and Jose Maria remix takes things the experimental techno route featuring their trademark big synths against a broken beat. “Keep On Repeating” is a peak time deep house driver with its hooky sub and use of a repeating vocal sample. “Anytime (You Want Me)” is straight-up deep house stomper with a house organ bass and made-for-each other vocal chops.

Since the launch of East Recordings in early 2015 Pablo del Monte has been kicking up a storm with his first two release being supported by underground DJs like Franco Bianco (Hypercolour), Andre Crom, Chris Fortier (Bedrock) and Joseph Capriati, and more mainrtoom-minded jocks like Cevin Fisher D Ramirez and Danny Tenaglia. Whilst his remixes have found favour with the likes of Nikola Marinkovic (BLN FM), Milan Geto (The Clubber) and Marcos Cruz (Desertica Records).

Thallulah, William Medagli and Jose Maria Ramon have been making waves of late with some epic releases on Einmusika, Chronovision Ibiza and Natural Rhythm. Their remix of Pablo’s ”Glide Over Here” was supported by Jean Jerome (Radio FG), Andi Durrant and even a certain Judge Jules. Whenever these artists team up something magical seems to happen…
