The horse bringing back Arthur was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced in a game. I treat that horse well and it fills me up warm inside it’d treat Arthur good too.

That last part is false, at least in my game. I took em all out with a throwing knife, grabbed my guns, mounted my horse, and made a break for it. You most definitely can take out the men around the house silently.

You can 100% escape the kidnappers silently. In fact, thats one of the gold medal standards. You can creep up behind them and melee kill with the throwing knife, or account for the floppy retical sway and throw the knives, much harder to do

I never knew your horse would come to rescue, that's awesome. I have like 1500 hours in this game and im still finding new details.

For me, if you play the whole game with one horse, then the scenes where you escape from the Odriscols and the Pinkertons make it more bittersweet and sad when your horse dies. I took the rare thoroughbred horse you can get from a random robbery jump by the Odriscols or strangers in chapter 2. I obtained that horse as soon as the legendary bear hunt mission with Hosea ended when I was on my way back to camp. I named the horse Calypso after the Ancient Greek goddess or titan who’s trapped in an Island forever and falls in love with anyone who gets stranded there like Odysseus. Calypso was with me throughout the entire game. She nursed Arthur back to health when he tried to flee the O’driscols and was by his side throughout so many chases and shootouts and adventures. That last scene when Arthur comforts her during her last moments made me actually drop some tears. I can’t believe I cried for a computer animated horse in a video game. Bravo rockstar. And thank you Calypso for being the only girl to be there for Arthur whenever he needed her. Now they’re both in Ogygia living in peace.

Every time I do the kidnapped mission I take out all the guards silently, grab my gear, take a mint/thyme/ oregano big game and then potent miracle tonic. Then smoke everyone on the way out. Pretty easy to do

I was able to kill the 2 guards silently with the throwing knives, retrieved my weapons and horse and left the property completely undetected. However to be fair this is the first play through I've had that happen, I normally take out the guards quietly then get caught while retrieving my guns
