Actually the neck snap thing is wrong they just get knocked out you can rest this by doing it to an npc in town, you will only be charge with unarmed assault

There is a way to knockout the guards on the horse boat mission with a bottle

If you use a knife or something on the boat to kill the guards Charles will get mad at you but if you use your hands than he’s fine with it even though you’re breaking their necks

I remember doing that boat mission for the first time. I get on the boat, pull out my tomahawk and proceed to yeet that shit at the first guys head right after charles or peta told me to not kill anyone😂😂
