In 2016, she shared that she was diagnosed with endometriosis; in 2022, she shared that she was battling ailments following the birth of her son, and she also shared that she was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), and postural orthostatic tachycardia.. She hinted she was now also being treated for lupus and leukaemia by tagging the Lupus Research Alliance as well as the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society in her latest post.

I am 43yo and I have been sick since I was 22. Mostly every year was more sick than not. But you can survive the suffering and rise above it. I sometimes feel like I was cursed to carry all the illness of the family 😂. Half of my life. My ability to have children. My ability to work. My ability to think clearly all of the time. My voice - lost to the intubation. My longevity. You can survive it. Losing almost everything to illness. Hell. I was in a coma in February. Woke up with no clue how I got there. You have to choose to be stronger than the momentary agony.
