Well, let's do another long one. This time around I'm joined by a new friend, Jan from Germany, who's also riding the EDT. I ride through some very picturesque landscapes and stumble upon a couple of sketchy roads along the EDT. Join me as I make my way south along the gravel roads of Northern Sweden in the search for that fantastic camp spot at the end of the day.

Hi Mike, I so enjoy your bike touring videos. I've been following you for some time now. You are so natural with the camera and really draw in your followers to make it feel like we are riding right along with you. Blessings and see you next time.

Another very good installment of your tour. Lucky find on the lean-to shelter.

Great video Mike. A bit scary to cycle in the middle of nowhere, though 😅

21:58 : I took a dinner break there as well. However, my water container was open and my bag was flooded and it was rainy. My licorice was soaked. Nice resting place but my temper wasn't the best at that time.

I was thinking watching this video today. There are an awful lot of trees in Sweden. The forests seem to never end.

Hello Mike, I want to ask you why you have the fork reversed on your Kona. It obviously doesn't spoil the handling. I really enjoy your channel. Best wishes Philip

I wonder how expensive is to get/build one of those isolated red houses and whats the living out there like, since something like this basically doesnt exist where I live, let alone in the harsh weather

36:23 idk I ran into a place like this while in Sweden and the repelent actually stop them from biting me...tho if i wasn't exhausted I'd sooner run away :D ...and its not sustainable for a long outing

I was wondering about the ferry operating times: when I got there mid-August I just hauled myself over, around 0630 in the morning. Shouldn't self-ferrying be always possible?
I have to admit though that I was lucky that the ferry was on my side, otherwise I would probably have called one of the numbers. rowing the boats over three times seems to be quite a pains, especially considering that you could lose the boat you have to tie to your boat.

Great video series otherwise.

Hi Mike, another question. In another Video someone asked the question what sense it makes to carry dried food plus the water it needs, vs e.g. canned food, which already includes the water. Does that bring weight savings?

Hi, Mike. Do you look to ride at a certain speed or just ride at whatever speed you get?
