One of the best videos I’ve seen! This is the boring but very critical thing that needs to be taught

Thanks for sharing. I'm starting a two year course as Sound-engineer / Producer next week. I already heard Workflow is an important part of the course and my job in the future. You all give clear tips and sum up some bottlenecks. These will come in handy for me (and others). Thanks again. Ed S

I had almost forgotten that I signed up to watch this. I am glad that it popped up in my feed. I graduated from the Musicians Institute audio engineering certification program and they often used an iteration of the naming convention mentioned. This was a great reminder that I don't have to reinvent the wheel.

This was great!!!! I am already implementing these best practices as we speak with my production company. I've already printed out the two one sheets on naming conventions. It's a setup for success!!!! Thanks to you guys for giving us some very expensive advice!!!

thank you from a home recording amateur...

I use two different SSD's and one HDD that I save my files on. I need to do much better on organization and naming convention though.

Excellent.. where can we obtain the naming convention and file structure suggested here?

So they want stems or they want the multi track? They start by saying it’s a confusing topic on how they want the files and then Matt and Paul seemingly have different answers on how they want the file delivered. I downloaded the linked file, didn’t clear it up.
