Thank you for this timely post! It's once again exactly what I needed to hear. You are so encouraging and really inspire me to believe in myself as a blogger, so thank you so much for that! I've been on this blogging journey for about three months and have been stuck down the rabbit hole of "learning all the things". I do have to give myself credit for taking action and buying a domain and hosting and doing the basic website setup. I for real needed a bit of time to recover from that but I did it! I got it done. But this video has really inspired me to make some actionable goals and start focusing on writing some content along with all the learning. It's time to take the plunge and dive in. This the most genuine video I have ever watched regarding blogging. For years I have wanted to start a blog and make it pop but I struggled with getting started. I tried to start a podcast but it felt awkward based on my topic, I decided to go back to my passion for writing and do blog. I stumbled upon your videos and they have been very insightful, but this one hit home.

Having recently hit my blog's one year anniversary this video was exactly what I needed. You are 100% right that you can't judge your early efforts compared to somebody's later. So much of what I did when I started my blog turned out not to even be relevant as my blog found its audience and I found my voice. I also love your point about being your authentic self. One of the things I do is movie/tv reviews and sometimes I second guess myself if I'm about to tell people I loved something people hated or - even more scary - hated something people loved. So you had perfect timing in that reminder that we need to be ourselves because that's what makes us stand out. Thank you for this!
