Terry was actually supposed to be a Capcom character! A proto-Terry appeared in the intro for SF2(?) where he had no hat, a military jacket, and punched through a brick wall. When his creator went to SNK, he was officially able to make the version we know today in Fatal Fury 1. It’s really dope to see how Capcom and SNK, despite losing their legacy staff, could come back to being friends for the love of fighting games

Hmmm I'm pretty sure the singer on the stage is actually Roxy not Poison (it's a bit easier to see in the Terry teaser trailer) 🤔. I love all the references in the stage tho, makes Pao Pao Cafe very vibrant :)

I’ll explain. Terry is the creation of a former Capcom employee Takashi Nishiyama. Terry because just as iconic is Ryu over time. He is SNK fighting mascot. Capcom knew damn well they had to go all out for him because is a role player. He has true Main Character energy. The Buster Wolf was a Nod and Homage to MegaMan and his Iconic “Mega Buster” and its pose thats came about in MVC and the MegaMan 8 box art.
