If I’m doing a 130 bpm garage track.. is this ok?… 16-32 bar intro 2 32 bar verses with the chorus/hook at 16 bars….16 bar bridge?

So when you’re sidechaining a sound I see it says SIDECHAIN in the “audio from” section, what does that mean? Like I’m used to sidechaining my bass to the kick and snare so when I do it it says kick or snare in the “audio from” section. What does it do if you don’t select anything there?
