Setting the cost per KWH requires prssing function until the cost/KWH shows at the bottom. Hold the Cost button for more than 2 seconds unitl the cost starts flashing Press the Function button to flash the digit you want to set then use the up or down button to set it. then press function to set another digit. when done, press cost.

just a silly question. in UK we pay 38.80p KW . I set it up at the cost of 38.80 and after 1h was about 4£ which is too expensive ... do I need to set like 00.38 on display? thanks

I have been trying to find something like or an equivalent to this, for larger home appliances, like a 240 volt, 30 amp, 4 prong plug clothes dryer. Any suggestions?

not reliable type of tester, switch for a few days found arcing at the neutral line and failed.

imo the gadget is next to useless.The instructions say install 3.6v rechargeable N1-MH batteries, asked dealer where to install them, , reply no need for that procedure, will self charge when switched on (been on for 12 hours and no light etc)seems to be a total scam !
