The 4 dots has like the same amount as the too much but with 4 dots it spread better

i make 4 small ones one big in middle. best method so far

It always will spread better under a cooler when you leave acrylic sheets there. Cooling will be awful though and you will probably snap something as it's all under more strain.

NO such thing as to much. Only to little. You obviously didn't put enough with the top 1 and yet you call it "too much" smh. Me personally, I use a card and cover the whole lid. Best way to do it imo. If you can see that the whole lid is covered before you attach the cooling you'll Never have anything to worry about.
