For the first problem, I calculated that to not have 2 women next to each other you would have 6! * (7!/3!) * (4!/2!) and I added the 2 factorial at the end because you do not want two women standing next to each other. Or is that already calculated in the 6! * (7!/3!) part?

I know its been years since this video was uploaded why are we including the 4! Again. Cuz my prof taught me differently. According to what he taught the answer is only 6! Multiplied by 7 choose 4.
Did my professor teach me wrong. Please help

Hey everyone I hope you are doing alright just I wanna say that
GOD loved the world so much he sent his only begotten
son Jesus to die a brutal death for us so that we can have eternal life and we can all accept this amazing gift this by simply trusting in Jesus turning away from your sins and forming a relationship with heavenly father.

Do you mean A is "011"?

Anyway I love these videos. :)

I know i'm like 6 years late, but

Since the 011 contains two identical 1, don't you need to divide it by 2!

If anyone would like to explain to me, feel free to do so

Hello Trev, your videos have been very helpfull.
I'm struggling with one problem:
If student A has to read 40 pages in 3 days, in how many ways can he split his reading in three if he needs to read at least one page per day?

for the example at 4:13 about binary, wouldnt it make more sense to just do 6 choose 4 because theres 6 positions around the triplets, and four 1's to choose from? that way we dont have repetition/overcounting, considering that 1011011 for example cant be differentiated from another binary string that is the same

Hello, Thank you for your tutorial series!
I have a question here that I can't figure out.
Would you please please please help?

Generate, list, and count: the number of distinct quadruples (a, b, c, d) such that:
a, b, c, d∈1..9
10∤ (a+b+c+d)
and order matters and repetition is not allowed.

sorry i want to know how to answer this question please:
In how many ways can we place 24 different books on 4 shelves so that there is at least one book on each shelf ? for any of these arrangements consider the books on each shelf to be placed one next to the other, with the first book at the left to the shelf?
and thanks a lot.

Hello, Thank you for your tutorial series!
I just had a little question about the first problem.
How come your 4 men and 6 women isn't 10!/(4!*6!) for the ordering?
