How to Setup and Host a Spotify Group Session with Friends | Guiding Tech

In this video, we'll show you how to setup and host a Spotify Group Session with your friends easily! Spotify recently launched a Group session for the Premium subscribers. Group sessions let you listen to songs with friends in real-time. Users in Group session can pick what to play and control the music together.

Steps to do this properly:

1. Start playing something on your PC
2. Open the app on your phone and click on the green text(current device) below the play button on the currently playing song
3. Click create a remote session
4. Have your friend join it via their phone. If they want to listen to it on PC, they will have to do step 1 before joining the link via the phone app.

Then it will work perfect, both of you will be listening to Spotify together in a group session on PC.
