I watched one video before this one. The video said you needed two machines to run this and the servers and was flying through the set up expecting everyone to know Linux like the back of their hand. This video was shorter, to the point, explained everything that I needed to understand.

Basically stuck at 6:45. Installed everything but can't access the panel from the browser. I have a feeling i input the wrong FQDN IP address, but now I just have no clue how to even reconfigure / change that IP. :(

hey i have an oler computer too that i would like to install pterodactyl on it whit a domain but im having too much trouble whit it is it eaven possible to install it on a home network that way or is it only possible on server computer rental sites?

at 9:29 the command isn't doing anything because you are running the wings application manually, hit CTRL + C and then type #systemctl enable --now wings

tried the installer on a proxmox lxc behind a wireguard connection, can't cant wings to communicate to panel it just gives me a connection refused error over 443, might have to do more messing around but have spent two nights on it 😅
UPDATE: Fixed it by using my lxc's local IP rather than a domain, followed rest of tutorial, then ran wg-quick up to get my wireguard connected and used the wireguard IP in allocations. works great. Also managed to get it behind my nginx proxy manager so now everythings on SSL, super happy.
