“Another black girls success is also a win for you.” Hit hard, it’s such a strong and supportive mindset I love that❤

If we see a black girlie in an interracial relationship we celebrate her being loved the right way!! She deserves that regardless of the partner’s ethnicity or race!

The “I see you sis” smile in public is one of my favorite parts of the culture 🙌🏿🖤

My personal black girl code is that whenever I see a black girl with cute hair, clothes, great makeup/perfume, etc. I make sure to let her know. I love lifting up my sisters and making sure they know how beautiful they truly are!

Btw, you are absolutely stunning!! 😍

“We never ever call a black girl white washed” wish you were there to say that to all the people who said/made me feel that way. I’ve often felt/been excluded despite being a literal dark skin black girl just because I don’t fit into the stereotype of what people think African girls are like. Sigh. I grew up on Disney, it’s not my fault I had little to no representation of people like me and hence never really learned how to interact with other people like myself. I’ve always had anxiety and was very protected from the public as a child because of my chronic illness. I stuck to what I knew and Disney, Winx Club, .. etc, were all I had.

It’s the “envy can get ugly” for me 🥺 other black girls would sometimes go out of their way to be mean or just flat out malicious. It needs to stop. I support this movement 🎉

The lace lifting is so applicable to criticism in general, like that saying “if the person can’t fix the issue in 2 minutes, don’t say it in public”. Also you are stunning 🌻
