Brown liner was popular in the 90's every woman of color wore it. It's just making a come back I guess.

Buy different matte deep brown lipsticks and use them as liners or to tone down lip colours. The edges of the stick work well enough as an fine edge if you can't find a good enough lip liner. Try gel eyeliners too. Their consistency works quite well. This is more of an option though, when you're in a pickle
