Well in reality, you can't talk about "members" of a group before the group is actually created. Before the debut of BabyMonster, there were just a bunch of trainees and it was always known that many of them would not be in the group. The final lineup was sort of selected a year before the group even debuted, so those other trainees were never "members" of the group.

They’re trainees from Shining Star agency in China, tbh, YG don’t reveal faces of their official debut lineup unless they’re about to debut. So the fact that they joined a survival show means they’re not gonna be in the debut lineup.
YG has this sense of being untouchable, they don’t want their artists/trainees mingling with other trainees (on-cam) or being seen in any shows
