Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της ειδησεογραφικής ιστοσελίδας Πρώτο Θέμα, η Γαλλία σημείωσε και νέα μεγάλη επιτυχία στην περιοχή του Σαχέλ, αφού μετά από συντονισμένη επιχείρηση της ειδικής Γαλλικής ομάδας, Μπαρκάν, με τις αμερικανικές δυνάμεις αλλά και τις δυνάμεις του Μάλι, κατάφεραν να εξουδετερώσουν ένα πολύ σημαντικό στέλεχος των Τζιχαντιστών.
Αναλυτικότερα, η επιχείρηση διεξήχθη στο Μάλι, κοντά στα σύνορα με την Μπουρκίνα Φάσο, και το συγκεκριμένο στέλεχος, επ΄ονόματι Ουμάρου Μόμπο Μόντι, είχε εξειδίκευση στην τοποθέτηση εκρηκτικών μηχανισμών, η οποία και συγκεκριμένη τακτική, όπως αναφέρει το άρθρο είναι και αυτή που χρησιμοποιούν κατά κόρον οι τζιχαντιστές που δρουν στην περιοχή.
Έτσι λοιπόν, όπως μπορούμε να δούμε, η Γαλλία, της οποίας οι ένοπλες δυνάμεις, δρουν στην περιοχή, συνεχίζει τις επιτυχίες της, και αυτό βοηθάει πάρα πολύ στη σταθεροποίηση ολόκληρης της περιοχής του Σαχέλ.
Τέλος θα θέλαμε να πούμε, ότι αν εκεί, οι συνθήκες διαβίωσης και επιχειρήσεων θεωρούνται δύσκολες, θα πρέπει να υπενθυμίσουμε ότι η Γαλλία είναι αυτή που ίδρυσε την πασίγνωστη Λεγεώνα των Ξένων, όπου πηγαίνουν και στο τέλος επιβιώνουν, μόνο οι πιο σκληροτράχηλοι στρατιώτες.

More specifically, the operation was carried out in Mali, near the border with Burkina Faso, and the specific member, named Umaro Mobo Monti, was specialized in the installation of explosive devices, which is a specific tactic, as the article states, that they use mostly the jihadists who are operating in the area.
So, as we can see, France, whose armed forces are operating in the region, continues its success, and this helps a lot in stabilizing the entire Sahel region.
Finally, we would like to say that if there, living and operation conditions are considered difficult, we must remember that France is the one who founded the famous Foreign Legion, where only the most ruthless soldiers go and survive.
