Welcome to video 1-21 of my new to beekeeping blog - First visit of 2021 - Winter Varroa treatment with Oxalic acid using the GasVap and viewing the hive from a bees view with an endoscpe
This is the first visit to the apiary of 2021. Firstly I am will be using an endoscope to see into the hives to check that the bees are still alive, and it is fanatstic to see that both hives are active and from a bees perspectriv too
It is also the time of year for winter Varroa treatment, and I purchased the GasVap to vaporise the oxalic acid, so this is the first time using it...and its brilliant to use.
As always please feel free to leave your comments, as I am new to bee keeping I am still learning, any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.
