I understand why some people would drop it; slower-paced, few/no battle scenes aren’t for everyone. At first I got whiplashed from how slow S2 started out, got a bit bored but then I was immersed by how Thorfinn would go through his slump and stay with it (love farmer Thorfinn now lol). Sad that some weren’t interested or had little patience for the current arc but it is what it is :)

Im actually enjoying season 2 more than i did the first, we get to see a more emotional and mature thorfin dealing with the trauma and regret of what he did in his past and how he will overcome it, its more of a realistic type anime and that’s what i love about it

Season 2 was a 10/10. The split ratings kinda remind me of HxH Chimera Ant Arc, they are both arcs that deal heavily with characters and emotions over flashy fighting, and that's exactly what I love about both series. I'm fine with people having different tastes, but its a shame that some people can't seem to find enjoyment in that style of writing, because I can't get enough of it.
