You forgot to include Ylva, who is 170 cm. Considering her height, it's probably safe to assume that Thorfinn is shorter because he was malnourished as a kid, if he would've had a normal childhood with his family, he probably would've been between 170 and 180

The tallest Vikings were Swedes (Svear), they’re averaged to be 1.75cm 5’9 while the Norse and Danes are typically around 5’7-5’8 (Anglo Saxon too). Germanic people are tall compared to other European ethnics mainly due to their place of origin being in southern Sweden, a fertile land in the north.

Very rare for Thorfinn to be short since his mother & father are both tall

I'm 157cm at 26 y/o almost the same height as thorfinn. Characters like him and other short anime characters like kenshin, asta, etc made me accept who I am. Height is not might 😁
(btw my father and relatives are tall so I understand Thorfinn's situation)

Its actually pretty accurate to how tall Scandinavians were during the Viking Age with the exception of the last one.

Keep in mind though that 170 cm was pretty tall for that time period and over 180 must have been a towering height.
