I need to make an edited version of this where Dracula is DIO and the hunters are the Joestars.

Just a note to add: when all three despair tokens are on the board, the game is almost over. Dracula gets +3 influence every turn he plays a Location or Hide card.

My only concern (and to try to quote Eric Lang when talking about his most recent game about the seven sins): When you have an all against one game you want to slant the victory percentages towards the single player. It is much better to have people lose together, than for one person to lose by himself. It seems this version makes it easier for the hunters, but even so I am in :)

I felt Dracula is way more powerful in this version. It is no longer the FLEEING of Dracula, but truly his fury. He wiped the floor with hunters in our 1st game. I'm with you that more plays are needed, but I think I will keep both editions as they feel like different games.

How does combat work when multiple hunters are attacking Dracula? Does he get to fight each hunter every turn or does he only get to resolve one attack on one hunter in the turn? I hope that wasn't confusing. Thanks in advance.

Why should Dracula be balanced with hunters when its 4 against 1? Seems by balancing him they've actually unbalanced the game in favor of hunters.

My feeling from your description was that Dracula has a harder time this game, and you have confirmed that at the end.  But I always felt that Dracula was at a disadvantage already in the other game.  I have played 2 ed a bunch of times, and think he has only won once, maybe twice.  Maybe there are other things in the game that will boost him.  but personally, I will probably stick with my 2 ed.

Most people I thought agreed that Dracula was slightly underpowered in the original FoD. So saying he's less powerful in this one is disconcerting.

hi Nick, thanks for this early review! one thing I wasn't clear on: is there player elimination (of hunters obviously! ) in this game? that would suck, since this is a long-ish game, so eliminated players would be twiddling fingers for a few hours (or more likely, go home, which is even worse!)
