I recently put an ssd in my 4pro and it makes a big difference. Things are certainly playable with an hdd obviously, but the ssd is worth the upgrade I feel

That’s why I got a ps4 PRO and boosted the performance in settings so it operates like a ps5

for this Gen of the PS4 there is almost no difference If you have Pro model go for the SSD...

This is especially important with ps3s

Ps4 pro will be the best console out of the two, due to the SATA protocol being higher on the pro it csn sctuslly take better advantage of the ssd

Ps4 pro fully utilize ssd but not ps4/ps4 slim there’s a bigger difference when choosing to upgrade on ssd on the pro

I’d recommend anyone to upgrade their console to have an ssd since load times will be better, it will feel just a bit better overall and ssd’s are more reliable

What test matters more is in game loading screen wait time.

SSDs only really truely make a difference in games, load times are way better overall (on good quality SSDs) bootup isnt all that much better comparitively
