Not surprised at all with this win for France. They are right up there with the best in the world on their day. Problem with France is their consistency, always has been. 61% possesion, 2 tries and still lost. Barrett needed to show courage to take on the french forwards from penalty corner kick in their 22. Forwards needed to use pick and go or inside runners options to squeeze in defence. Ratima the Slow Motion button killed quick ball from ruck and scrum. Overall passing too slow and recieving player catching ball too high or from behind

Looking back at the replay, the ABs did get back into the French half after the last penalty made it 30-29. So the ABs had a chance to slow the game down and go through some phases within kicking distance, but they instead went for the miracle play and BB stuffed it up by delaying his pass to Reiko which gave the defence time toget across and force a fumble from Reiko. If BB had passed straight away the ABs would have had a 3 on 2 down the right wing. Best option would have been to slow it down and set up a ruck to get closer to the posts.

great first try, we played quite well in parts but the french had a 16th man on their side. some crazy tough calls on the all blacks. if we look at this in the cold light of day. watched it over full record. I found that the french were not that good. But n.z was the better side clearly showing how without the ref, the french were stuffed in effect. But rugby continues to kill itself by a thousand cuts. sad news. the letting of players through new rule is a complete joke. rugby finds new ways to hurt itself, or shall I say us the kiwis. Hate to say it but we need to play a contrived 'play for penalty' s.a, irish, french, eng style along with our attack try making abilities cos we are way behind, have been for too long and it cost us another match. th haka is of little consequence now apart from a clown show.
