I'm from NZ and remember being 14 at a family friend's house down the road when the first test was playing. My parent's and people from around the whole street (it was a cul-de-sac where everyone knew each other and had parties often) were watching the game in the kitchen/family room with a TV there, while drinking etc. I sat in their lounge nearby alone, on a nice fancy couch with big plamsa TV (these people were fairly well off) and had the time of my life watching the game.

I had never really been into rugby before, but I pretty much watched the whole Lions Tour of 2005 at their place, and at home in my room when they didn't host that night. I'm not a massive rugby fan, and don't know all that much about the game and it's players and history etc, but I know I sure loved watching this back then.

Looking back really enjoyed this test despite being a massive Lions fan. DC’s performance was sublime. Simply the best number 10 performance I’ve seen in my life time. Hats off to him for that.

Also, happy I got to see another sublime performance of DC’s live and in the flesh; this time his last appearance in an AB shirt. What redemption after missing the last World Cup final.

The argument of Carter vs. Wilkinson as the GOAT 1st five. Carter with the best NZ'rs in his team vs. Wilkinson with the best Northern Hemisphere players in his team. AB's win. Pretty straight forward answer not to mention the IRB player of the year and player records achieved

How come Brian O'Driscoll wasn't playing?

I'm joking haha he was farked up

People moaning about "it would've been different if BOD was there" Mate I don't care if you had Bruce Chuck Norris Lee in your team that night, nothing was gonna stop DC GOAT

DC's pace so underrated. At 7:03 he just goes through 2 gears and slides past everyone else without breaking stride

In the history of Lions Rugby this was there worse defeat. Absolute slaughtered. Loved the fast pace nature of this series and less stoppages like you see today. This was Era of proper Rugby
