I’ve been looking at a bunch of covers and thing that most fail to do, despite having wonderful vocals, is to fully give in to the emotion. Most people stay composed, in control, they try to emulate the vocal inflections of the original, especially in the beginning, but don’t fully go to that place of anger and spite that is necessary to make it genuine.

You, however, went there. You showed raw emotion. It was both acting and singing. And it was excellent. Worthy of the tossing of many coins.
