Honestly going through this tutorial is way better than BlenderGuru tutorial because he rambles so much, and needlessly has a video of himself in the corner. I really appreciate that you are straight to the point but clear when you make your videos. :)

I know this is beginners, and I'm a beginner myself (coming just recently from the donut video). My question is, wouldn't it be easier to just mirror de wheels instead of duplicating them?

Pretend you are making this vehicle for a video game, would you need to join these separate objects into one object? Is it better to create each little part of a big item on a separate layer and then join them later?

Wouldn't it be better to use the mirror modifier?

when you go in to object edit mode you still have the gizmos(xyz) on my pc it just desapears do i need to turn on something? its a fresh install of blender 2.79b
