The meaning of the so-called "desecration of historical memory": in 1939, the USSR entered into the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact with Nazi Germany, the secret protocols of which divided Poland, Finland, and the Baltic states between the two aggressors, using the Soviet–Estonian Mutual Assistance Treaty for a subsequent armed takeover. In 1944, while fighting against its former ally, the USSR, rearmed under the Lend-Lease Act, bombed Narva City into ruins, prohibited the inhabitants from returning, and repopulated it exclusively with Russian-speakers over the following decades of continued occupation. In 1970, the occupiers put an old surplus tank on a pedestal, which just happened to be on the former land of a family whose house had been destroyed systematically. In 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, and the Estonian government relocated that tank to a military history museum, so that Putinist with Zs for brains wouldn't celebrate there.

That's what it means to be on that wanted list.
