I'm investigating the possibility of being a digital nomad after finishing my studies in Canada, so I joined some related subreddits and other social media groups.

I feel like Sri Lanka would be an ideal destination for digital nomads, but it is not popular among these forums. Bali, an island in Indonesia, is the most hyped destination that has similar climate and attractions to Sri Lanka. Is there any reason for that?
