Meet Trevor Bradley, our last tourism hero for the year 2022!

Trev is a director and the general manager of operations for Flight Coffee, one of New Zealand’s largest wholesale distributors of roasted coffee. They also serve up their unique blends and single origins via their Wellington café and bar, Hangar.

Like many others, Trev's career began with serving coffee throughout university as he looked towards a career with the New Zealand Police. However, he soon fell in love with the operational side of Flight Coffee and decided to buy into the business alongside his mates. Needless to say, they said yes to “the best PowerPoint presentation of all time”, making Trev a prime example of why you should always go for what you want and take a chance! It may work out pretty well!

To sell and serve outstanding coffee, the team at Flight Coffee believe the key is to develop outstanding people. Trev is quick to highlight the several career opportunities available within their own team, and within the wider world of coffee. From customer service, to roasting, to production and operations – there’s a whole career path to be taken, both here in coffee-obsessed Aotearoa and beyond! As Trev says: “There are so many different paths within the industry… consider what those paths could be, and just get started!”
