'You are doing nothing': Beto O'Rourke interrupts Texas governor's remarks on school shooting

Former Texas U.S. Rep. Beto O'Rourke interrupted Gov. Greg Abbott's briefing on Wednesday on the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School, stating he didn't believe the governor was doing enough to address gun violence.

"You are doing nothing," O'Rourke said before promptly being escorted out of the briefing.

An official said, “You are out of line” three times to O’Rourke as he was talking inaudibly. “Please leave the auditorium,” an official said. “I can’t believe — you are a sick son of a b**** that you would come to a deal like this to make a political issue.”

The death toll in the gruesome school shooting rose to at least 19 students and two teachers, as distraught families mourned and made desperate pleas for help finding missing children.

I'm tired of hearing people say that blaming politicians for doing nothing is politicizing the issue. Silence is just as political as speech, because silence preserves the status quo -- which is precisely what 2A apologists want. This is exactly what happens when you are guilty as sin, they get mad and start showing there true colours when they are confronted by someone who doesn’t fear them. All they could do is start screaming and calling security to remove him free speech sure went out the window on that one didn’t it.
