That's a really beautiful salad!!!  I'm sure it'll taste even better when it sits a little bit longer so all the veggies get marinated in the dressing.

My mother used to make a Waldorf salad sometimes, decades ago...Lettuce, shredded carrot, diced apples, raisins, walnuts, i'm not sure if she put mandarin oranges, mayo with some lemon juice or orange juice in it, i forget, there could have been some celery, and i forget if it had onion or garlic...i don't know if there was anything else added to it, but it was really good...the chewy sweet raisins go well with all the rest, it's kind of like a "treat"...
