As a non practicing Catholic, I'm looking forward to this episode. The older I get the more I realized that religion just gets in the way of your relationship with any higher power. And that's if you believe in a higher power. Just enjoy the time you have on this earth. Don't harm others.

And we wonder why the CIA sees Mormonism as a ripe breeding ground for the good little soldiers it continually needs to sustain empire at whatever the cost

Back when Obama was running against McCain, my parents had me fly "Vote for John McCain" signs next to a voting booth. I was like, 13. There's no way I would agree to that nowdays. I was just doing what the Christian, Republican group of people around me wanted. I got a few middle fingers for it, too lol.

This was such an insightful and interesting conversation even for a Spanish person like me where Mormonism is highly rare

Don't worry Johnny, I am sure you have turned way more away from the church.

Sorry to hear that, but my mission wasn't for numbers and since I was a kid, my parents taught me true principles and that's what I taught others in my mission. Also, I never obligated anyone to get baptized, they have to find for themselves if this is true or not.

They don’t tell you how to do it 😹 still covering for the church even after he left lmao, also bro telling people fake shit about theology is not “hard work” or a “grind”

Smh you go on a mission to spread the lords message and hope to bring people closer to god you weren't ready to be a missionary because of your thinking never regret what you did because it was for the lord you did it for yourself

I'm a Latter-day Saint and served a mission for the church. I can absolutely say that Johnny is lying. Like completely lying. There are absolutely teaching books and rule books. The books specifically discuss the gospel and how to teach it accurately. That book is called "Preach My Gospel". Missionaries also have a standardized rule book with tons of rules about all kinds of things. While his mission area may or may not have published stats, I've never heard of that and that is not at all the norm. So, why in th world is Johnny making this stuff up?? Super weird of him.

Missing the point. going on a mission is not a competition.
