zac about your "laptop" you built. how about a pc that's integrated into a backpack with a 2.5ghz dongle that connects to a notebook like portable display/keyboard/trackpad combo. and then have a battery pack in the back pack with a socket you click the pc into. and then once the battery pack is attached it will automatically undeclock the cpu and gpu to reduce heat output within the backpack. but once you take it out and put it on a desk and plug it into the wall the gpu and cpu can sorta rev up to their original clock speeds. and have the display and keyboard detach from one another for a more comfortable desk setup. and maybe even allow for a cable to take over the video out in order to reduce latency
