Thanks for another great video! I know it was very tough times...but I don't care... I would rather have lived in that time...

Merci pour avoir mis en ligne cette pépite historique des années 20/30. C était le temps du charleston et l époque d Al Capone et de la célèbre brigade de police les incorruptibles avec Elliot Ness .🤗

Wenn ich mir die Leute damals und heute so angucke, dann frage ich mich, was da wann und wie aus dem Ruder gelaufen ist

2:21 That is Clara Bow, Hollywood actress. She was a big star in the silent days (1920s).

The "well armed Capone mob" at 5:10 looks more like cops to me especially because the street map on the wall behind them looks like something cops would have at the precinct.

8:11 Lucky Luciano was indeed a brilliant gangster but none of the three men pictured is Luciano.

Yea Prohibition, you can get 6 months in prison for using that word here in Ireland. Using it in a comment is taking a risk.

4:42 The caption here was incomplete. Why people were let so close to a body would be an interesting story if you put it out in full.

0:49 "Have you ever RUN from the police...?" The verb is present-tense RUN, past-tense RAN, but past participle in compound tenses like this: HAVE RUN, HAD RUN, HAVING RUN. It fools a lot of youngsters because past-participle looks like the present-tense more than the past-tense.

This video has been every entertaining, but I don't think that some of the pictures shown were from the 1920's and/or 1930's. They look too modern. In any event, it was a very wild time during the Prohibition era. It should never have happened. Prohibition gave rise and power to organized crime. Thank you for these lovely photos of the early part of the 20th century.

I wonder what happened later to two (15&16) looting girls. Does anybody watching here knows it ?
