If you do it the right way you could fry an egg in weather as cold as 85°F, if not colder. I tried it myself way up north in Connecticut which isn’t know for hot summers and it worked. In fact, using my infrared thermometer with emissivity set to 0.95 I measured a pavement temperature of 230°F . The trick is using a window to reflect even more sunlight onto the pavement.
