The felling of missing artschool, not for the studies but for the community. Is one I lately have every time I sit and draw. I really miss just sitting with others and draw. If not for quick feedback then for being constantly inspired.

What worked for me wonders is creating a theme and stick with it for the time being or for a page or even the whole sketchbook. Like you would draw One Piece like scribbles so everything is set in a "18 ish century pirate fantasy world with comedic elements" theme or whatever you are into. Its easier to grasp an idea if you have some limitations in your possibilities. Later you can use those theme based sketches if you want to elaborate it into a comic/ manga, video or gameworld.

This honestly really helped me. I was the guy that always goes to their artbook but never draws anything on it because I have no idea what to draw. It feels very discouraging when you are an artist, and you can't come up with creative ideas that it brought me into a very long hiatus that made me feel like I picked the wrong choices in life.

One artist I know who does this a lot (and it looks amazing) is *Rinotuna* - they use all sorts of objects from *thumbtacks* to *bananas* to come up with the most wild characters

Crazy, been kind of on the same track lately as well, what I’ve done lately is combined multiple interests of mine to develop new things. Like if you like the ocean, and you like armadillos you could create a armadillo aquatic animal thing :) keep up the good work !!
