The infinite clay hack 🤩

Показать описание
This is how you recycle all the unwanted clay pieces you’ve made without it going to waste! Pssst if your clay dried out and became rock hard this is how you bring it back to life 😉
⭐️ Basically any bone dry clay that is not fired will dissolve it water no matter how dry it is.
So, this is how you recycle clay at home ♻️ This is a fun process, you’ll know it when you try it 🤩
1️⃣ Collect dry clay or clay wastes from making pieces in a bucket with water. Breaking the pieces helps it dissolve faster.
2️⃣ Once the clay disintegrates in water, sponge out the excess water in the bucket and mix the clay well, so that there are no lumps.
3️⃣ Spread it onto a wooden/plaster board, make a thick slab and smoothen it out
4️⃣ Poke holes or draw lines in the clay so that every part of it dries well and consistently.
5️⃣ Drying time varies based on the weather, ours took 2 days since the clay was pretty wet. Keep checking it to see if it has achieved the right consistency
6️⃣ since the top layer of the laid out slab is slightly firm, flip it over so the bottom portion also dried evenly.
7️⃣ Once the excess water in the clay has evaporated and it feels like thick clay on touch, remove the clay from the board.
8️⃣ Make smaller sizes if you’re recycling a big batch of clay and wedge it, that’s it. It’s ready to use 🥳
