The Chance to Rebuild to address the Silent Pandemic of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD): The fight against the COVID-19 pandemic has left behind other critical health challenges that now risk triggering major new health and economic crises, or “silent pandemics”. Cardiovascular diseases, which account for one-third of all deaths globally, are estimated to increase from 17.9 million in 2015 to 24 million by 2030.

This expert panel discussion brings together leading thought leaders to discuss how global policymakers, clinicians and the global health sector can partner to promote the creation of innovative and sustainable delivery of care models for CVD patients across the globe.

This non-promotional discussion brings together leading thought leaders like Prof Kausik Ray, WomenHeart CEO Celina Gorre and Prof Rifat Atun and is aimed at healthcare system leaders, healthcare professional, patient organizations, access experts, policy makers and journalists. The discussion aims to highlight the burden CVD places on healthcare systems (HCS) and the need for better ways to manage largely prevalent, preventable diseases such as ASCVD (Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease).

This is a global event organized by Novartis Pharma A.G. and intended for healthcare system leaders, healthcare professionals, patient organizations, access experts, policy makers and journalists; Not intended for US based audience / HCPs.
