Is top one always shifting ? Bottom idle ? ...my 04 johnson is getting stuck in gear... when I spin the prop it has a little knock and goes away when I move the lever .. how do you adjust cable ?

i have a 92 johnson 175 fast strike it will idle down to about 200 rpms after the quickstart kicks off, would this adjustment fix that or are there other things to check first

I’ve got a 2004 johnson 115 *bombadier \ saltwater edition* white outboard.

It idles fine out of the water, but put it in the water and it stalls on idle almost every time.

In addition, reverse acts the exact same way. Had it serviced but it operates approximately on trailer hooked up to a hose.

Got any ideas?

How do you make the throttle have less lull in it? My 96 90v4 i have to just about have the throttle 3/4 the way down before my motor will wind up
