Great video. The door handle on my son's Niro has an electrical connection to the front of the door handle. I can't figure out how to get to the plug to disconnect it. How do you reach it?

Is there some trick I am missing for a 2018 Kia Niro? I loosen the bolt, but the lockset does not budge. When I look through the access hole the lockset rod seems firmly connected.

If it has a key fob make sure your key fob works after too

My door handle was stuck at the open position so I took it apart which fixed the problem but as I was putting it back together the bolt holding the lock cylinder in place wouldn’t screw back in, it would hit just right of the hole. I ended up having to take the gasket off so the lock cylinder would move farther back and the bolt would land correctly. If anyone has a better fix I’m welcome to hear it otherwise I hope this helps someone.
