Everyone seems to think newcastle has depth 😂 for literally 6 games we had 3 goalkeepers and u18s on the bench. And we are playing league cup/champions league and premier league. Man united have players on the bench who have played premier league and champions league before. Our bench havent played either.

Name another club who went from an asset stripped shell in a relegation battle to Champions League in 18months. Still had half a squad, no rotation at all, high intensity football, and possibly the worst injury list in premier league history.

Injuries is one thing but lack of squad depth is another. Our players need to play full games with many subs. Where we've suffered is other teams have brought quality players on around 70 / 80 minutes and we can't.

No but seriously. This is why you can’t turn a club into Man City level in a year. They have a full squad of killers. Not starting eleven. Squad.

You can do a top 4 finish if you put everything in, but then what are the expectation? it’ll kill you the following season if you rush. You need the time to build out your squad to compete with that.
