NCyTE: Introduction to network scanning with Nmap

This video provides a broad overview on how to install, use, and interpret results from Nmap. Nmap is a tool used by systems administrators and penetration testers to provide information about your network and attached devices. We cover installation, use, and interpretation of results, as well as the very important consideration of knowing when it's legal and potentially illegal to use network scanning.

The intended audiences for this video include high school, community college, and lower-level university students who are interested in, or participating in, cybersecurity, information technology, or associated programs.
