That's a role model. Proves you can kill it at sports but doesn't compromise his passion for education

And now he’s an NBA Champion and Finals MVP. He’s an inspiration to reaching your fullest potential.

I love that he's helping to crush the "dumb athlete" stereotype.

That's unbelievably amazing. People with this level of talent and skill genuinely come around only a few times a generation.

Aint no way he did all of this while being a top tier athlete?! Major respect. What a stud.

Any scouts who dislike a player because they are too smart should be fired immediately. That's absolutely ridiculous if it's true.

He deserves to be more praised and looked up to by younger kids.

He reminded me of that asian who's simultaneously a doctor, an astronaut and a seal.

I’d actually feel like it’s a really GOOD sign that he was that invested in learning and education. Not only does it show he takes his passions seriously and loves them, but also shows that he very obviously loves learning, meaning not only would he be a coach and teammates dream, but also means he knows a lot, and not doubt probably loves teaching just as much and has a lot to teach, even proven true by his mentality and the robotics session he taught, all to say if anything, this should’ve soared his draft capital. I can understand the fear of “Him not being 100% in on Basketball”, especially if you’re used to drafting players who it seems like are always just focused on the game, but sometimes having spread out passions is one of the most important things, he’s not only going 50% on Basketball, he’s just going 100% on both.

This is the man's man. He's good at everything without even trying. Good on him he got VP in the player's union. That means with all his talents and gifts he's not arrogant or condescending and cares about his fellow players.

I went to school with a bball player that was BRILLIANT. We were in gifted classes together. He is now a high ranking Military judge (Marines) His son is exactly like him and is an amazing player. I’d love to see him in the NBA one day.
