I’m a Bay Area native, and I would not live in Livermore. Thanks, but no.

You only showed newly build structures in this video. Livermore is a cowboy town turned into city. Show what the town is about and not the new "plastic" appearing buildings. You did Livermore wrong in this vid, visually. People say how hot is is here lol. Not nearly as hot as over the hill to the east of us just Easily 10-15° hotter in the same day. And then 5-10° Hotter if you go even further east. Livermore is hot but not known for its heat. It is still considered bay area. Livermore is the east most "bay area".

With high taxes, homelessness, and traffic, I don't think California is worth the price anymore

Livermore used to be a slice of heaven next to a traffic corridor nightmare. By bay area standards it's still a nice town, but not for long. High density housing will kill it.

No way! The traffic sucks. It is a major commute on surface streets cutting through from 580 to the Bay Area. Highway 84 is already bumper to bumper. It's not even complete yet.

And that’s why houses are only on the market for two days before selling. It truly is a beautiful city with so much to offer. And yes summers can be hot but there are a lot worse places out there for summer heat.

I worked on the 580 freeway in Livermore for two years. Traffic, traffic, traffic... and it's hot as hell.

Lived in Livermore for 20+ years, raised a family. Generally got freeway/BART access to the rest of the Bay Area, wine country, 10 minute drive to many EBRPD parks for hiking and cycling. We love it.

At its current price point expect the average age of resident to be 50+ and growing every year.
You really only run into parents who waited till late 30s into 40s to have kids and can afford a house there, and then their toddlers.
Livermore will inevitably become one large retirement community with a small working poor who lives in crowded dangerous dense segregated part of town. I've seen it become this over the last 20 something years I lived there

It's within a somewhat reasonable distance to San Francisco and Silicon Valley (though traffic sucks). There's also a decent outdoor shooting range. Note that the Tri-Valley is technically a desert, so it can get damn hot in the summer.

I live here. If you’re not used to hot summers, you’re in for a treat.

I love Livermore, lived there for 17 years. Yes it's hot in the summer, you just learn to adapt.
