Seriously 99% of the comments are clueless . Couldn't care if we get beat 10-0 in pre season . Silly mistakes cost us today we didnt play bad . Ive seen enough that i know were be ok this season. Lavia looks classy, nkuku looks like the player we signed before injury, noni looks set to have another good season and we still got palmer and cucurella to came back . Caicedo only came back monday same as enzo . Still think we could do with oshimen but not bothered if we dont .

Idk why people were expecting a win, in a system as intricate as the one Maresca is trying to implement, it's going to take a lot of time. The defence is going to need some serious fixing, we leaked too many goals because of several individual mistakes. Enzo isn't going to work as an attacking player, we already saw that last season under Poch and it didn't work. He's a deep lying playmaker. Hoping these problems are fixed by the time the season starts.

For me conceding is normal but to have a Gk like Sanchez who can't make even 1 save 😢, remember the points we corrected last season was because of Petrovic who kept us in the games. Maresca think about Goalkeeping.

Lavia is a baller already taken the number 6 position definitely a starter what a pass for Noni goal, enzo and caceido are too slow for our new style of play, nkunku is better of a 10 than a striker.

The thing with these mistakes is that the players are trying to be mindful of what the manager wants them to do and it’s not natural to them yet, usually under pressure a defender would just lump it upfield to clear the danger but enzo wants them to pass their way out. It’s going to take time for them to play a new way. Our fan base is an embarrassment, most of which have never kicked a ball in their life. “We’re gonna win the league” when we win, “we’re getting relegated” when we lose

Fellow Chelsea fans, we must accept the reality that we are no longer in the Abramovich era of Chelsea that we all love and come to expect high standards from.

I've been a fan since i was a boy and this era at Chelsea is nothing like I've ever seen before but we really have to get behind the club, coach and players as best we can.

Yes there are noticeable and concerning issues with the performances and player picks, but it's pre season and 'Rome wasn't built in a day' is a good one to reference.

For context, the field is made for college American football. Same comments about the mistakes also came from Pep in his own post conference. He said the pitch was terrible and made it difficult. Guaranteed at least 50% of mistakes would be reduced. Only time would be factor whether it is true.

What killed us was the line up. Enzo(player) and mudryk shouldn't have started. We could have started Guiu and Sterling then second half bring up Enzo Fernandez for Caicedo. That would have helped our midfield disaster. But on the bright side, I can see a glimpse of what Maresca wants to do with the team. But the sooner he realises high line defence doesn't work for us, the better and in addition Sanchez wasn't a great choice for us to us as a starter

On 18/8/2024 it's better moment for Chelsea players to prove us right that they are on level to be a Chelsea's players because full Squard of City will be available.
