Nicktoons Basketball: A Classic Crossover

Time for a big Nickelodeon crossover! I know it's a little soon after my last upload, but I'm coming down with something and I wanted to make sure I got a video made before my sickness got too overbearing to work through. Hope you all like it!

nicktoons games were NOTHING without iconic opening cutscenes. I can still play back the opening cutscene to nicktoons party blast in my head

I had this game as a kid, hardly knew what to do, and I was SHOCKED to find out Tak was in it years later.
I like the models and I wish they weren't pre-rendered just so I could get my hands on them, the more 3D models of other characters than SpongeBob the better

Also fun fact: A lot of the characters have voice lines pitched incorrectly. Most notably Jenny and Jimmy have this, some others as well, though its not all of them so its odd to see the inconsistency.

Heh, looks like you got the same PC collection I did long ago. I've been looking forward to hearing about this! (though it took me awhile to know you finally got to it.) ^^;

Nicktoons Basketball was certainly one of my favorites, and I enjoyed playing it now and then! I'm pretty sure I mostly played as the Bikini Bottom Bouncers, since I was more of SpongeBob fan, though I believe I also used the Dimmsdale Dunkers and the Retroville Rockets now and then.

I've also gotta give this game some props for using Cindy's modern design from the show. It still baffles me that a majority of the Jimmy Neutron/Nicktoons games use her classic movie design instead. (I might be misremembering, but I believe Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 also uses Movie Cindy in her cameo at Jimmy's Lab.)

Iirc, I believe that some of the characters didn't have any voice clips. (Namely AJ and Cindy.) I always thought that was weird. Guess they couldn't get new recordings, or even repurpose old ones.

I wish we could get a Nickelodeon tennis game on consoles. I love games like Mario Power Tennis, Sega Superstars Tennis, and Everybody's Tennis, so I wouldn't mind playing a Nickelodeon tennis game as long as it ends up in the right developers hands. They did release a mobile tennis game back in 2022 called Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis, but I don't really play mobile games. Nickelodeon should also give us a brand new Nicktoons Unite game and a brand new party game. I remember they gave us Nickelodeon Party Blast, but that game was terrible lol.
