There's so many people that go missing in national parks. A lot of them (dead usually) are found, if they're found, are missing clothes, but almost always missing their shoes. One guy they found, dead, had walked so far barefooted that his feet were worn down to the bone.
They found one guy that was on top of a mountain ledge who's body was so smashed that the only explanation for his injuries and death, was that he had been dropped, basically, from the sky.
There's also the case of the like 3 or 4 guys who went missing on what was supposed to be a short hike. They found one of them in a cabin, his shoes off, food in the kitchen area, and he'd starved to death and died from exposure/hypothermia. I can't remember what happened to his friends though.
Anyone they do find alive can't seem to remember what happened to them or how they got to where they were or how they got so far. One woman was too terrified to say what'd happened to her.
But there's definitely something weird going on.
One thing I'd seen once had said that a lot of Bigfoot sightings correspond with places people went missing. One kid that'd gone missing was seen being carried off by... something. His sister said she'd seen it happen. I don't know how real that statement is, but this shit is crazy and there's definitely something going on and there for sure a cover up going on. It's just insane.

I've got a sister in law that's been missing for the last 20 years! It's a awful feeling. Even worse, she was staying with me when she went missing. I believe in strangeness...but I have been in many, many terrains, and it is not hard to believe that someone can fall, get lost, etc. and never be found. Tall, thick underbrush can hide a living elk calf so well that you can literally step over the calf and it won't move and you won't see it. Regarding missing people, one good rainfall or snowfall and any evidence may end up far away from where it started.
