Born and raised in Appalachia. I have spent countless hours walking the creeks In Southern Ky, most of the time it's quiet and peaceful, but sometimes you just know your being followed and watched. I've learned to just ignore it and carry a big stick.

You know what freaks me out the most is that those ghosts throw everything around but never clean up anything

I'm an Aussie, and we have a phenomenon called The Min Min Light/lights. They occur in the country, at what you heard of as the outback. I am 70 now, and remember seeing one when I was teenager, travelling with my mother around 11pm. It suddenly appeared in the paddock to our right, about 100 feet away, and kept pace with us for a quarter a mile or so, then went out. But the scariest lights my husband and I saw, were three alongside each other, suddenly appeared about the same distance away, but 80 or so feet high, that just dissipated within minutes.

Live in SW Virginia, my dad grew up in Haysi Va and told us when we were kids in the 70's that he went to get water from the well in the early morning when he was a young man in the 50's on a early misty morning and there was a very tall creature standing at the treeline looking back at him. We thought he just trying to scare us and laughed and it pissed him off. Grew very close to my dad, very no nonsense engineer and before he passed he told me again that he clearly saw what looked to be a 7 or 8ft tall wolf standing upright that morning, then he said two of his brothers had also seen it along with others back there. At my fathers funeral I actually brought it up to one my uncles that dad said had also seen it and he kind of got angry and shut right up. I still have relatives back in those deep hollers and they just don't want to talk about that kind of thing.

My great grandmother was an Appalachian mountain witch. A healer in our culture. She firmly believed in the spirits of the mountains and demanded we be respectful at all times to the woods.

I live in the Tennessee Valley at the Foothills of the Smokey Mountains. We used to take regular trips to Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg in the mountains. I would take my kids and rent a Chalet for the weekend several times during the summer. But the last time we went, our regular Chalet that we would stay in, we ended up having to change locations because when we got there, and got everything unloaded from the car, I could smell gas. Apparently the fireplace had a small leak so they changed us to a different Chalet about 5 or 6 miles up further in the mountain. As soon as we pulled up, my oldest son and I were joking about how it looks like something right out of a Friday the 13th movie... It was older, more rustic looking than the one we were used to, and A LOT more secluded. Even when we got inside the feeling was really heavy and just "off" in general. It was darker decor, walls, floors, and the vibe of course. We were hearing weird noises all night long and we were terrified to even look out and see what was making the noises. Finally at
5:30 am I said okay.... Get up... Let's go... And i started packing up. As i was taking stuff to put in the truck, i heard some rustling in the Woods (which were pretty much surrounding this place.) I was trying to keep checking my peripheral and I caught sight of what i first thought was a bear... But the more i looked, and when it moved, it wasn't indicative of a bear... And when I heard the growls and grumbles it was making... I've never heard a bear make sounds like that....
So I'm on full alert, this is not a drill... I told the kids grab everything that's left, once we walk out the door, we go all together and we're NOT coming back in for ANYTHING!!!
But we obviously got out and to the truck and we've never stayed there again. Not even in the Chalet we preferred. From then on.... We go to the beach!!

I’m so grateful Darth Vader caught that footage of the lake monster. Couldn’t have done it without his Masterclass filming skills.

I live in West Virginia 42 years and you absolutely have to confront people who lurk around near you in the woods. I've confronted people and I've confronted someone saying my name but nobody was there, more than once and it is creepy but less dangerous then the strange people. Always carry and be ready to protect yourself

I've lived in Western North Carolina my entire life. I'm just outside Pisgah national forest and mount mitchell. There are all manner of strange things happening in these mountains. I've had personal experiences and many second-hand accounts of high strangeness and paranormal events.

That woman shootinh the mountain lights cannot even make a move without announcing it through her mouth. Yeah we can see them moving just fine. It is not a football game. I hate it when someone loves their own voice. I'm surprised she did not scare them away.

Every time I see that video at around 3 minutes i hope the girl got fired from her security guard job..if you see a figure and just drive away without at least getting headlights on it you can't be doing that job

Man, I decided to play a drinking game while watching this video and every time Jaymez said "and they were baffled" I would take a shot of whiskey...I nearly died!

I was a National Park Ranger in the Appalachian mountains. I spent hundreds if not thousands of hours deep in the back woods, sleeping alone, on the ground, under a thin silicone nylon tarp. I never saw or heard anything more suspicious than an occasional wild boarwandering by. Everything else, including bears, seemed to be deterred by any scent or sound of a human nearby. I assume that also applied to any large hominid passing through, because I never saw or heard anything unrecognizable.

I believe the stronghold on the internet is making it harder for you to come across legitimate videos. Although, some in thus video are believed to real, others up for debate and the rest fake; the ratio has changed. Been watching you for years. You are the best at this genre and format in my opinion. I appreciate that you still call out the fakers or if there's even doubt. God bless. Don't stop.

I live at the tip of the Appalachian mountains in Alabama, a few months ago while driving home with my sister around midnight in a little country town with no streetlights, to the right of me right behind the thin treeline there was what looked like to me a giant blood moon, I was freaking out I didn't hear anything about that happening that night and thought the world was ending lmao, and then later down the road we saw multiple orange orbs floating in the sky above me, I think there were like 3 or 4. But they moved in unpredictable random patterns and were moving in and out from behind the thin clouds. To this day I cannot explain it but I have a gut feeling the deep country side of the south is just simply full of explainable phenomenon we are not supposed to know about for some reason. Something spiritual.
