If anybody who is having trouble is reading this, heres a tip:

Other than the chest, make sure the ONLY items in your inventory are the items you want to duplicate (this just makes it easier), i emptied my entire inventory into another chest before doing this, also make sure your render distance is about 32 chunks (or whatever the max chunk render distance is on bedrock)

if you've done what i've said and it works, here are the steps you need to do to do the glitch multiple times


1. when you can back into your world, you can just put all the items in the chest in your inventory

2. once the chest is empty, exit the inventory screen and save and quit,

3. then when you go back in, put the items in the chest just repeat the whole opening task manager while the inventory is still opened thing thats shown in the video


the only big thing you need to do are the steps in the video, and have max render distance

as a previous comment said, the dupe may be more likely to work with lag, hence why max render distance and shaders may help

For those of you pursuing this here is a step by step guide:

1) Place a chest and then save and exit while on 8 render and simulation distance.
2) Like the video said, make a backup of your world items will sometimes disappear.
3) Start the world and then change your render distance to 30 and your simulation distance to 32 .
4) After that quickly throw the items you want to dupe into the chest.
5) While still inside the chest like the video said hit "CTRL" + ""SHIFT" + "ESC" that will open task manager.
6) Do what the video said and the dupe should work flawlessly without fail every single time guaranteed.

Took me a while to understand this. Finally got it down to where its so easy it takes like a minute per dupe. This is very OP.
Keep in mind THIS DOES NOT WORK IF YOU ARE USING OPTIFINE... Open a vanilla version and do it. 100% of the time will work.

y’all could also go into a separate creative world and get unobtainable stuff and then put it all in chests in the nether and then copy the creative world’s nether into your survival world’s nether via minecraft files and it won’t say cheats enabled or anything it’s pretty neat and faster than this if u wanna cheat stuff in anyways

the steps don't matter you just need lag and to close the app with the task manager after you put the items you can even do it again directly after restarting if your pc is on fire

Guys, this glitch is working 100%.
But It might not work for some users because they might have a good pc. So, if you want it to work make sure to set your render distance to 64 and follow the steps correctly as shown in the video. The reason why it doesn’t work in good pc’s is that when you force close the game, the game tries to save the world which will cause the glitch to fail. But setting high render distance takes up alot of resources causing the glitch to work.

Doesn't work on multiplayer servers. I placed my chest on a random block. I put all the items i wanted duplicated in it. I did the steps of task managering the open binary. When i reconnected, all the items were still in the chest and nothing was in my hotbar.

I'll show you some!
First take 2 stackable items in your main hand then press "F" and "Q" at the same time now dont place or throw it will disappear so to prevent that open inventory now all real if you want to repeat the process then put real on mainhand and repeat. (I found the glitch i call it the "offhand drop glitch" you can make a video about it :D)

Let me know if it worked I found the glitch on 1.21 try it on there

Single player world duplication glitches are super impractical. Why not just click "open to LAN", and turn on cheats at that point? It's quicker and both methods are cheating.

From my experience using this, it has a 10% success rate. I don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong, I followed this step by step and nothing gets duplicated.

if it don't work put render distance 30 and simulation 32 trust me it makes it more laggy so it is a higher chance.
